The Monark Price Guide is a unique website, unlike anything else in the world. It lists the current price, new, in the UK as well as the second-hand price, for thousands of items of photographic equipment, including still cameras and lenses, digital cameras and camcorders as well as classic and collectable equipment.

In addition, all sections have a ‘saleability factor’ added. This Saleability Factor (SF) gives you an idea as to how quickly an item should sell. Obviously we cannot guarantee an instant sale for an item, but this information is useful when considering a purchase, or when pricing an item to sell.

First published in 1951, the Monark Price Guide started life as a simple typewritten, hand-duplicated listing containing prices of new cameras and lenses. Initially available only to a select few shops, it has grown in over 50 years to become a lynchpin of many varied operations, from photographic shops to insurance companies.

It’s just like having a photo expert in your computer!

The Monark Price Guide is available to anyone likely to encounter photographic equipment in their daily business, such as photographic shops, traders and collectors, antique dealers, auction houses, second-hand shops, pawnbrokers and insurance companies etc.

Subscriptions to the web site are £37.00 for one-year, single user (unlimited access) and £69 for two-year, single user (unlimited access)
