This page is to assist subscribers in identifying types of cameras from just their names.

Please note, this is not a definitive listing of every name but covers the majority of the popular ranges
found on the Monark Camera Price Guide web site

With many end-users now purchasing photographic equipment from abroad via the Internet,
it is not uncommon for many non-UK models to find their way into the country so we have produced this list
of many imported Asian and American model names, along with their UK equivalents.
Please note that although they may appear be identical to the UK model,
imported cameras will usually be valued at less than an official UK model due to possible servicing and spares problems.

Once identified, the relevant section of the Guide should be consulted in order to obtain the current value of that item.
